Flash flooding in Tasmania on 14 January 2011 created havoc in our Railton brewhouse with bottles and kegs washed away and a range of electrical problems to deal with in the aftermath. All kegs were returned by locals on the following day and we are most grateful for the army of helpers who arrived for the cleanup.  Electrical issues slowed production, putting a squeeze on future supplies which impacted on event commitments during March but the tasting room remained high and dry and we were open for business the day after the flood.  We consider ourselves very lucky compared to others in Australia and around the world who have suffered the impacts of natural disasters.
